Fishing Tournament Rules

Date: December 10
Time: 5 pm Eastern
Starting Location: Langenfirth Fish Buyer's shack.
Entry fee: 1 gold lirum to be paid at the start of the competition, plus 1 silver per fish entered in the competition.
Time limit: Time frame for the event will be 2 hours.. All contestants must be at the Scales prior to that deadline to weigh any last minute submissions, but submissions can be made at any time during the tournament.
Judging: For each submission, the contestant will hand the fish to the Registrar and tip the judge 1 silver. The fish will be wieghed and logged and announced to the contestant.. the contestant may then weigh the fish themselves if they wish, but all fish will be given to Erinenne for later sale. The winner will be determined by weight. In the event of a tie for first, second or third place, the tie-breaker will be a fish-off. Both tied contestants will be taken by a judge to the nearest available fishing spot. Both contestants will fish in the same spot, and the first one to catch a fish wins the tie-breaker.
Additional information: All proceeds go to the ODS Boat Fund.
Other rules: Any fish placed on a string are disqualified.
